Time Off Your Way – the Aruba’s Vacation Policy
At Aruba, we have a tendency to work really hard to deliver networks to users, wherever they work or roam. That said we also understand the importance of taking a break once in a while and playing as hard, if not harder, than we work! A few years ago, our management team decided that instead of limiting our time-off policy, they would work with our direct managers to open it up. What does that mean exactly? At Aruba we have no formal time off policy for our exempt US based employees – we like to call this ‘Time off Your Way’. Employees can take the time they need to relax and recharge the way they want it. Whether it’s going home to see their families in India for a few weeks, taking a wine-tour around Europe, or just taking the day off here and there for a mental health day, our employees and their managers get to decide what works best for them. When managers work with their employees and set expectations to get the job done, both are more engaged and productive. In short, ‘Time Off Your Way’ is a win-win for the employee and Aruba.
