Position Summary:

Aruba Networks is looking for highly motivated channel sales professionals. The successful candidate has a proven track record helping channel partners achieve long term success. Prior experience with channel partners selling in the networking or security space is highly desirable.

The Channel Manager is a trusted advisor to Aruba's field sales teams and top partners. The Channel Manager identifies and enables partners, helps them grow revenues with Aruba solutions, and ensures Aruba's resources are directed towards partner success.

The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about helping our partners succeed, has the skills and creativity to grow partner business, and delights in mentoring and guiding partner sales teams to become proficient in the Aruba value proposition. The successful candidate can establish effective account strategies, foster executive relationships, and execute against a detailed account plan.

If you are this candidate then you are high energy, self-motivated, focused, and effective. You present well and are quick on your feet. You like to wake up every day thinking about how to bring your partners to new levels of long term success. You have a history of demonstrated sales competence and partner knowledge in a high tech field, and you work well with other field professionals. You know how to develop and execute go-to-market programs, hold effective quarterly partner reviews, and work with partners to meet their goals.

Skills Required:
  • 5+ years of channel and sales experience with a leading network or security vendor
  • A top performer - proven track record of exceeding sales quota
  • Strong organizational skills, focus & execution strengths, solution orientation, excellent communication skills
  • Ability to set and manage objectives with partners, implement operational improvements, streamline communications, and deliver sales training
  • Business, financial, or marketing experience preferred but not essential
Location:
  • The position covers Central US - Dakotas, Great Lakes area down to Kansas & Kentucky. Preference for Chicago-based candidates but not essential.
