Sunnyvale, CALIFORNIA, November 2, 2004 - Aruba Wireless Networks (Aruba) has won the "Networking & Communications Product of the Year" category at the Computing Awards for Excellence 2004. The company was nominated for its centralized Wireless LAN System and was awarded the prize above two other shortlisted finalists at a Gala presentation evening in London, UK.
The Computing Awards for Excellence, now in their 12th Year, act as the benchmark for excellence throughout the computing industry. Recognizing and rewarding the very highest standards of individual and collective achievement, they truly are the most renowned and sought after awards in European.
Aruba's wireless LAN (WLAN) switching system remains the only modular enterprise class solution of its kind.
