ARUBA NETWORKS JOINS MOBILEIGNITE PROGRAM FOR MOBILEVOIP INTEROPERABILITY

Aruba Networks and BridgePort Networks Demonstrate Interoperable Solutions and Seek to Accelerate MobileVoIP Market

SUNNYVALE, California - September 20, 2005 Aruba Networks today announced that it has become a member of the MobileIGNITE Program. Established in early 2005, by BridgePort Networks, the MobileIGNITE Program brings together leading MobileVoIP companies committed to working on open, standards-based interoperability in order to speed time to market of MobileVoIP convergence solutions.

Aruba has recently completed interoperability testing with MobileIGNITE Program member BridgePort Networks between Aruba's enterprise mobility system and BridgePort Networks NomadicONE™ Network Convergence Gateway, demonstrating support for seamless roaming and in-call handoff of voice calls between mobile and Wi-Fi networks. Aruba and BridgePort Networks have pledged to work together and further solutions to enhance their products to fully deliver on the promise of convergence.

"Organizations the world over recognize the significant business and economic benefits of mobility, and the rapidly growing adoption of enterprise-wide wireless networks is proof of this point," said Keerti Melkote, founder and vice president of marketing for Aruba Networks. "Maximizing the value of mobility requires that voice traffic, along with data, be seamlessly and securely delivered throughout the extended enterprise and beyond. We look forward to working with others members of the MobileIGNITE Program to rapidly bring standards-based, interoperable solutions for MobileVoIP to market."
