Network Rightsizing is an evolutionary network design that reduces network edge costs and increases mobility for campus and office environments. Especially effective during upgrades of existing edge switch equipment and new Greenfield installations, network rightsizing has been proven to lower one-time and ongoing network costs by more than 50%. Network rightsizing leverages the wire-like experience and substantially lower cost structure of 802.11n wireless LANs to replace wired access ports that are underutilized due to an ongoing trend towards mobile access devices.
