About Atmosphere Meetups

Atmosphere Meetups are a series of one-day events that bring the best of Atmosphere 2019 to a city near you. These events are free to attend.

Network engineers, architects, managers, administrators, security specialists, and managers will benefit most from the technical content presented on the Airheads track. Employees of Aruba’s value-added resellers will benefit most from the solutions-focused content on our Partners Sales track.

Both tracks are taught by Aruba subject matter experts and local teams.

Airheads

The Airheads track is designed by engineers, for engineers. Join us as we detail the changing role of the network, and how to provide secure and reliable connectivity in the mobile-cloud era. This track is designed for Aruba customers and partner engineers, but everyone is welcome!

READY: Is the network ready?

Delivering an enterprise-class user experience requires a comprehensive approach that extends from users and devices to applications and data. In this session, we will demonstrate how wired and wireless provisioning can be streamlined and managed from a single source.  We will look at provisioning the campus and data center infrastructure to ensure network readiness, even when IT staff time is stretched or skill level is minimal. We will show how Aruba software delivers unparalleled visibility and analytics to enable network assurance, how to coordinate network switch configuration with Aruba NetEdit, and how to perform live software upgrades with Aruba VSX. You will also learn how to simplify and secure networks access via automated policy enforcement with Aruba Dynamic Segmentation.

SECURE: Is the network secure?

Securing the network should start at connection, especially in today’s IoT enabled environments and places with open networks. But securing the network doesn’t have to be hard. Learn how the Aruba solutions enables IT to leverage comprehensive end-to-end security solutions to provide critical access, IoT and behavior-based visibility and data protection without impeding business use cases that require IoT. This session provides discussion and demonstrations on Aruba’s security solutions, including the newest member to the portfolio, ClearPass Device Insight.

DELIVER: Is the network delivering on expectations?

Connect and protect is not enough.  Today’s edge network must deliver on not only user expectations, but IT’s expectations too.  The challenge: increased use of mobility, cloud apps and IoT means IT organizations often perform heroic feats to keep up. In this session, we will demonstrate use cases that improve the user, operator or LoB experience.  We will then dive into how User Experience Insight and NetInsight helps IT operations optimize network performance through built-in visibility and machine learning to continuously monitor app, user, and network performance.

READY, SECURE, DELIVER: The Cloud and Branch Story

IT organizations who manage multiple branch locations need to prepare their networks for the expanded use of cloud-based applications and IoT workloads. This creates new IT burdens that can result in moves, adds, and changes across the access layer and the WAN edge. To improve IT and end-user experience, Aruba Central has evolved into an AI-powered network operations, assurance, and security platform that spans WLAN, LAN, and WAN. In this session, we’ll demo the new Aruba Central packed with enhanced analytics and SD-WAN capabilities that will improve your visibility and control of the network.

CAN I ATTEND MORE THAN ONE CITY?

Yes! To register for another city, simply sign up via the Registration portal and select the city.

I AM A PUBLIC-SECTOR EMPLOYEE. CAN I ATTEND THIS EVENT?

Yes! We would love to host you. However, HPE’s gift policy does not allow for employees of a U.S. or Canada Public Sector customer to receive any items of value from HPE. All Public Sector customers must pay fair market value for items offered at this event, value of $30. HPE will accept pre-payment, payment onsite or you can choose to decline the amenities. IS BREAKFAST SERVED?

Yes, a light continental breakfast will be served at each event. Employees of a U.S. or Canada Public Sector customer are required to pay the fair market value for any amenity provided by HPE per HPE’s compliance regulations, including meals or may opt out.
