Verifying Additional DHCP Scope

Starting from ArubaOS 8.2.0.0, the output of the show ip dhcp statistics command is enhanced to show a warning if the DHCPDynamic Host Configuration Protocol. A network protocol that enables a server to automatically assign an IP address to an IP-enabled device from a defined range of numbers configured for a given network.  lease limit of a 7005, 7008, or 7010 Controller is increased beyond the user limit.

Execute the following show command on a 7005, 7008, or 7010 Controller to view the DHCPDynamic Host Configuration Protocol. A network protocol that enables a server to automatically assign an IP address to an IP-enabled device from a defined range of numbers configured for a given network.  lease limit statistics:

(host) (config) #show ip dhcp statistics

DHCPv4 disabled; DHCPv6 disabled

To make a DHCPv6 pool active, ensure that the pool name is added in vlanVirtual Local Area Network.
