apboot

apboot {all [global|local]|ap-group <ap-group> |ap-name <ap-name>|ip-addr <ipaddr>|ip6-addr <ip6addr>|wired-mac <macaddr>}

Description

This command reboots the specified APs.

Syntax

Reboot all APs.

all

global

Reboot APs on all controllers.

global

local

Reboot only APs registered on this controller. This is the default.

local

ap-group

Reboot APs in a specified group.

ap-group

ap-name

Reboot the AP with the specified name.

ap-name

ip-addr

Reboot the AP at the specified IP address.

ip-addr

ip6-addr

Reboot the AP at the specified IPv6 address.

ip6-addr

wired-mac

Reboot the AP at the specified MACMedia Access Control. A MAC address is a unique identifier assigned to network interfaces for communications on a network. address.

Usage Guidelines

You should not normally need to use this command as APs automatically reboot when you reprovision them. Use this command only when directed to do so by your Aruba representative.

Example

The following command reboots a specific AP:

(host) [mynode] (config)# apboot ap-name Building3-Lobby
