Description

This command changes the prompt text.

Usage Guidelines

You can use any alphanumeric character, punctuation, or symbol character. To use spaces, plus symbols (+), question marks (?), or asterisks (*), enclose the text in quotes.

You cannot alter the parentheses that surround the prompt text, or the greater-than (>) or hash (#) symbols that indicate user or enable CLICommand-Line Interface. A console interface with a command line shell that allows users to execute text input as commands and convert these commands to appropriate functions. mode.

Example

The following example changes the prompt text to “It’s a new day!”.
