show ip interface brief

Description

This command displays the IP-related information on all interfaces in summary format.

Syntax

No parameters.

Example

(host) #show ip interface brief

 

Interface IP Address / IP Netmask Admin Protocol VRRP-IP

Interface

List the interface and interface identification, where applicable.

IP Address /IP Netmask

List the IP address and netmaskNetmask is a 32-bit mask used for segregating IP address into subnets. Netmask defines the class and range of IP addresses. for the interface, if configured.

Admin

States the administrative status of the interface.

Enabled—up

Disabled—down

Protocol

Status of the IP on the interface.

Enabled—up

Disabled—down

VRRP-IP

VRRPVirtual Router Redundancy Protocol. VRRP is an election protocol that dynamically assigns responsibility for a virtual router to one of the VRRP routers on a LAN. IP address associated to the interface.
