Configuring Energy Efficient Ethernet and Ethernet Link Speed
You can configure 802.3az or link speed using the WebUI or CLICommand-Line Interface. A console interface with a command line shell that allows users to execute text input as commands and convert these commands to appropriate functions..
To configure 802.3az EEE and EthernetEthernet is a network protocol for data transmission over LAN. link speed:
1. In the node hierarchy, navigate to the page.
2. Select , and select the EthernetEthernet is a network protocol for data transmission over LAN. link profile you want to modify. The parameters for the profile are described in Ethernet Interface Link Profile Parameters.
3. The selected profile appears in the Profile Details window. The configuration parameters for the profile are described in Ethernet Interface Link Profile Parameters.
4. Select the checkbox to enable energy efficient ethernet.
5. Select the required value from the drop-down list to configure the EthernetEthernet is a network protocol for data transmission over LAN. link speed. The speed value can be one of the following values:
— 10 — 100 —1 — 2.5 — 5— Auto-negotiate. This is the default value.
6. Save your changes.
To enable support for 803.az EEE, access the command-line interface in config mode and issue the following command:
(host)[mynode] (config) #ap enet-link-profile <profile>
