Modifying ClearPass Device Insight Web User Interface Preferences
Network administrators can use the ClearPass Device Insight Web user interface preferences. You can specify how the device status is configured and when the different Dashboards are refreshed.

Field
Description
Modify the time in minutes when a device is considered online by entering a value or clicking the up and down arrow. A device is displayed as
if the device has communicated within the time frame entered here.minutes appears as the default.
Modify the time in minutes when a device is considered offline by entering a value or clicking the up and down arrow. A device is displayed as
if the device did not communicate within the time frame entered here.minutes appears as the default.
Device status is displayed as
if the device did not communicate in the time frame entered in the field, but did so before it reached the time frame entered in the field.Click the down arrow and select how often you want to automatically refresh the Dashboards (
and ). Options are:Dashboards are not refreshed.
Appears as the default.
If there is an active selection in a Dashboard (for example, some charts are selected) the automatic refresh does not occur.
The
field that is displayed on the Dashboards is determined by this setting. - Click
- Click to reset the field values back to the default settings.
