Deployment Steps

This section describes steps required to be done on Gateways and Microbranch APs to configure the integration with HPE Aruba Networking SSE. It also lists the steps to forward traffic from the Gateways and Microbranches through the SSE.

The deployment steps can be divided into two fundamental parts:

  • Tunnel Orchestration. This can be fully orchestrated or rely on a semi-automatic mechanism and is common to SD-Branch Gateways and Microbranch APs.

  • Traffic Forwarding. This process, while bearing great similarities, differs depending on the different edge device.

Note: The fully orchestrated integration is under “Select Availability”. Please reach out to an HPE Aruba Networking representative to have this feature enabled in your Central account.
