Monitoring SD-WAN Overlay Tunnels and Route
The Aruba SD-WAN Software-Defined Wide Area Network. SD-WAN is an application for applying SDN technology to WAN connections that connect enterprise networks across disparate geographical locations. solution provides support to configure SD-WAN Wide Area Network. WAN is a telecommunications network or computer network that extends over a large geographical distance. Overlay network manually and automatically. To view information about the tunnels and routes configured for individual Branch Gateway, go to the and tab in the gateway monitoring dashboard. The monitoring features of SD-WAN Overlay run on the Gateway Foundation license that is auto-assigned to the gateway device.
Aruba Central provides a separate dashboard to monitor the status of tunnels and routes. The tunnel table and route table are displayed based on the Aruba site and the pin that is selected. That is, route table and tunnel table are not displayed before assigning an Aruba site to a VPNC device or a Branch Gateway device.
The prerequisites to view Overlay Route Orchestrator details and Overlay Tunnel Orchestrator details for a gateway are as follows:
- Make sure that the gateway is assigned to an Aruba site.
- Select a device group that contains a gateway, which is mapped to an Aruba site.
When you click the pin on the map view, or search and select site from the search box, you will see the pin only if the gateway has a valid Aruba site.
