Creating IP-SLA Profiles

To create and configure IP-SLA profiles, complete the following steps:

  1. In the WebUI, set the filter to a group that contains at least one Branch Gateway.

    The dashboard context for a group is displayed.

  2. Under Manage, click Devices > Gateways.

    A list of gateways is displayed in the List view.

  3. Click a gateway under Device Name.

    The gateway device dashboard is displayed.

  4. Under Manage, click Device.

    The gateway configuration page is displayed.

  5. If you are in the Basic Mode, click Advanced Mode to access the advanced configuration options.
  6. Click WAN Wide Area Network. WAN is a telecommunications network or computer network that extends over a large geographical distance. > Health Check.
  7. Click IP-SLA Profiles.
  8. Click + in the IP-SLA Profiles table to configure the following parameters:

    1. Enter the Profile Name.

    2. Select a probe destination from the Probe Destination drop-down list.

      If you select Manual, you must select Type from the drop-down, and then manually key in the Destination field.

      HPE Aruba Networking recommends AOS-10.4 or later to configure IP-SLA with manual probe destination.

    3. Select one of the following probe mode from the Mode drop-down list:
