Using the Branchsupport Account

The branchsupport account allows the network administrator to gain access to a gateway that is in the factory default state and is failing to connect to HPE Aruba Networking Central.

To prevent security loopholes, this account is deleted automatically as soon as the device gets any configuration pushed from HPE Aruba Networking Central.

The branchsupport account is only available when:

  • There is no configured admin account.
  • The managed device is not in contact with the HPE Aruba Networking Central.

To access the branchsupport account, use these credentials:

  • Username—branchsupport
  • Password—mac-address-lowercase-colondelim
