Subscription for Offline-Mode Installation
Aruba Central On-Premises application supports offline deployments. An offline-mode installation is required for security reasons. In offline deployments, the subscription A business model where a customer pays a certain amount as subscription price to obtain access to a product or service. is added by uploading it as a file to Aruba Central On-Premises.
The purchased key is sent to your registered email. To generate the offline license, login to HPE Networking Support Portal and generate the offline license file using the account ID and key received in email. Download the offline license file to your local through secure media. Upload the offline license to Aruba Central On-Premises on a dark site. Aruba Central On-Premises automatically recognizes the signed license key and updates the subscription.
When the Installation Type is set to offline, Aruba Central On-Premises displays the option to upload the license file.
Aruba Technical Support handles the generation of offline key in order to restrict the usage to only one installation per offline key.
