Configuring System Security
The System Security tab provides the option to configure insecure algorithms for backup on older servers that do not support secure protocols, and to restrict management access on Aruba Central On-Premises.
Enabling Insecure SSH Client Protocols
Servers that are very old may not support the updated secure protocols. In such cases, you may allow insecure algorithms for backup. However, this option is not recommended.
To enable insecure Kex algorithms, complete the following steps:

In the Aruba Central On-Premises app Short form for application. It generally refers to the application that is downloaded and used on mobile devices. , set the filter to Global.

Click the Enable Insecure SSH Secure Shell. SSH is a network protocol that provides secure access to a remote device. client Protocols toggle switch.
This option is enabled by default for existing installations and disabled for all new installations.

Click Save Settings.
The insecure client kex algorithms are enabled to work with older servers.
Restricting Management Access
To add subnets that are allowed to access Aruba Central On-Premises GUI Graphical User Interface (GUI), is a type of UI enabling user interaction with electronic devices through symbols, graphical icons, and other visual metaphors instead of typed commands or text-based UIs. , complete the following steps:

In the Aruba Central On-Premises app, set the filter to Global.

Click the Restrict Management Access To COP toggle switch.
The list of allowed subnets is displayed.

Enter the subnet to be allowed and click .
The subnet is added to the list.
