Preparing Your Network for New Central
Watch video: Preparing Sites for New Central
Site Design
Sites are mandatory in New Central. A site defines a location where a set of managed devices are physically installed. They can contain APs, gateways, and switches. Sites can be organized by single building, co-located buildings, or a logical grouping of buildings. Sites can be used for monitoring and defining the scope of alerts, events, and insights. For more information, see HPE Aruba Networking Central Design.
Site Provisioning
Existing site users can skip provisioning sites and explore the New Central interface right away. If your network does not contain any sites, take a moment to provision your sites and ensure all your devices are optimally mapped. For more information, see Managing Sites in Classic Central.
