Date/Time Tab
Administration > General Settings > Setup > Date/Time
The Date/Time tab indicates the time zone and Network Time Protocol (NTP) settings for one or more appliances selected in the appliance tree. It can also indicate time discrepancies between your devices (appliances, the Orchestrator Server, and your browser). If the dates and times of devices are not synchronized, charts and report statistics will have varying timestamps for the same data.
Time differences shown for Orchestrator and your browser (client machine) are relative to the respective appliances. Appliance times should be within a minute of Orchestrator and browser times. If exceeded, an appliance alarm is issued.
TIP: To synchronize times, it is recommended that you configure the appliance, the Orchestrator server, and your client machine to use an NTP (Network Time Protocol) server.
To configure a synchronized date and time for an appliance, click the edit icon in the row associated with the appliance. The Date/Time Settings dialog box opens.
