Getting Started

A new or existing customer wants to deploy the Unified Fabric solution. What is needed?

  1. Are you an HPE Aruba Networking EdgeConnect SD-WAN customer and have an active account name and key?

    • Yes. Make sure you are running Orchestrator and ECOS release 9.5. Go to item 2.

    • No. Contact your HPE Aruba Networking Sales Representative to get started with HPE Aruba Networking EdgeConnect SD-WAN.

  2. Are you an existing HPE Aruba Networking Central customer and do you have SD-Branch and/or Microbranch deployed and managed by the HPE Aruba Networking Central instance?

    • Yes. Make sure you are running version 2.5.8 of HPE Aruba Networking Central. Go to item 3.

    • No. You need to have an active HPE Aruba Networking Central subscription and an instance of HPE Aruba Networking Central with SD-Branches and/or Microbranches deployed. Contact your HPE Aruba Networking Sales Representative.

  3. You have both EdgeConnect SD-WAN and HPE Aruba Networking Central with SD-Branch/Microbranch deployed, so you can add EdgeConnect gateways and an EdgeConnect SDWAN Foundation subscription license.

Prerequisites

Make sure all of the following prerequisites are met before deploying a Unified Fabric solution in your network.

  • Access to HPE GreenLake Cloud workspace with administrative privileges.

  • An HPE GreenLake Cloud account with an active HPE Aruba Networking Central instance.

  • HPE Aruba Networking Central version 2.5.8.

  • An approved request to allow-list the partner/customer account and enable the configuration in the partner/customer HPE Aruba Networking Central account.

  • An EdgeConnect SD-WAN Foundation subscription (e.g., SKU : S2M85AAS - HPE ANW EC Hub Gtwy Fnd 1y Sub SaaS).

  • HPE Aruba Networking EdgeConnect SD-WAN Orchestrator 9.5 and EdgeConnect gateways running ECOS 9.5 or above.

  • HPE Aruba Networking Bridge Gateways and Microbranch Access Points running AOS-10.6 or above.
