Register EdgeConnect Gateways in HPE GreenLake Cloud

Sign in to HPE GreenLake, find your Workspace and click Go to Workspace.

Click Device Inventory.

Click Add Devices.

Select Networking Devices from the Device Type menu, and then click Next.

Select Serial Number & MAC Address.

Enter the Serial Number and MAC Address for the EdgeConnect gateway you plan to use as a VPNC, and then click Add. Repeat this for all EdgeConnect gateways you plan to use as VPNCs. If you have this information stored in a CSV file, you can select CSV File and upload the file.
NOTE: For the MAC address, use the serial number of the appliance and use colons, as shown in the example.

Click Next.

Assign Tag is optional, click Next.

Location and Service Delivery are optional, click Next.

On the Review Add Devices page, ensure that the information you entered for each EdgeConnect gateway is correct, and then click Finish.

Click Close.
It takes some time for the EdgeConnect gateways to be added to HPE GreenLake.

On the Devices page, you can search for the gateway you added. In the following example, EC-XS was added, but it still needs to have a subscription tier applied.
