HPE完成收購SD-WAN領導廠商Silver Peak

提供完整的網路產品組合,協助客戶加速邊緣到雲端的轉型

台北 – 2020年9月24日 – Aruba,母公司Hewlett Packard Enterprise (紐約證交所代碼:HPE),宣布完成SD-WAN領導廠商Silver Peak的收購作業,交易金額9.25億美元。Silver Peak將成為Aruba (母公司HPE) 的一部分。此次收購將強化 Aruba ESP架構下的解決方案,透過涵蓋有線、無線區域網路和廣域網路 (WAN) 完整的邊緣到雲端 (Edge to Cloud) 解決方案,協助企業加速雲端轉型。

「WAN轉型是HPE Intelligent Edge (智慧邊緣) 以及邊緣到雲端願景和成長的重要關鍵,」HPE總裁暨執行長Antonio Neri表示。「藉由Silver Peak提供完整的SD-WAN產品組合,我們將為所有應用程式和資料 — 無論它們位於何處 — 提供真正的分散式雲端模式和雲端體驗。」

由於傳統的WAN架構會帶來較高的成本,且操作不易,因此企業對SD-WAN技術的投入愈來愈多。Aruba和Silver Peak具有共同的願景和目標:在邊緣 (Edge) 提供簡潔、高擴充性和應用程式感測能力。Aruba的 SD-Branch 產品組合和遠端工作解決方案,結合Silver Peak的自動化SD-WAN和WAN優化解決方案,讓Aruba能夠更全面地滿足客戶需求,並從前景看好的市場商機中獲利。

交易內容

Silver Peak是HPE通過收購成功加速其策略並增強競爭地位的另一個例子。Aruba和Silver Peak的結合,將強化HPE的Intelligent Edge業務,並帶來大量的收入機會,這將增加Intelligent Edge部門的收入增長和毛利率。我們預計該交易將對2022財報年度的非公認會計準則 (non-GAAP) 每股收益維持中性1。
